Borderline Volleyball Club

Attention all Borderline coaches, players and parents: Unfortunately we are unable to “control” the gym practice time that the school has shared with us so generously. Please be aware that school, spring sports do take precedence over any other activity in the gyms. We apologize for any misunderstanding that has occurred due to this conflict. Borderline Volleyball is very fortunate to have the gym space we do have. This alone helps tremendously in keeping our costs down and as such player fees considerably less expensive than most volleyball travel teams. We understand it is very frustrating to not have the practice/gym time that we all want available to each of you. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Please know that we are trying to accommodate every team and with the bad weather as it has been, this is not an easy task. If you know of a gym at your church , etc that may be available please contact us. We truly hope that you understand our predicament.

Tentative schedules are now online for AAU players. There may be changes if a tournament is closed out.

On February 20 at 7:00 pm in the BJHS gym there will be an informational meeting to sign up for AAU volleyball teams.

The try-outs will be in the BHS gym on March 3, 4, and 5 as needed. Twelve year olds will start at 5:00 until 7:00. The try-outs for 13s, 14s, and 15s will be 7:00 to 9:00.

• If you are new to Borderline, please bring a copy of your birth certificate.
• There is a Non-refundable $25 fee for try-outs. This covers the cost of try-outs.
• The 2008 cost to play AAU is $300 which includes five tournaments. The twelve and under teams will attend the state tournament. The tournaments will take place on weekends in April and May.
• The placement on a team is determined by age as of September 1, 2008.

The USAV teams will be traveling to Pittsburgh on May 24-26, 2007 for the East Coast Championships.

Tryouts for the Lakeshore Region High Performance team are on February 17th, 2008. The team will play in Arizona this year.

New this year, we will have one highly competitive USAV National team and one AAU team for each age level 13s to 18s. USAV and AAU are two different volleyball organizations. The cost for USAV is $600. This cost includes four tournaments and the nationals.
