| Nov 5–6, 2011 | USAV Try Outs at BHS Saturday 11/5: 13/14s 12-2:00, 15-16s 2-4:00 Sunday 11/6: 13/14 2-4:00, 15-16s 4-6:00 Cost $575 for season. |
| Jan–Feb | Volleyball Skills Clinics begin on Sunday afternoons 1/15-2/26 from 2:00-4:00, for ages 14, 15, 16, and 17. Cost $100. |
| March | AAU Try Outs for 12 and under girls, 3/6-3/7 from 5-7:00 at BHS. USAV begins practicing on Sundays, 3/4-3/25 |
| April | USAV and AAU teams begin practicing during week days and tournaments begin. |
| May | USAV goes to East Coast Championships, AAU 12s go to states. |
- AAU teams will be offered for girls aged 12 and under.
- One USAV team will be offered for girls aged 13 and older depending on interest.
Borderline Volleyball
Mission Statement
Our purpose is to provide a competitive program for additional volleyball practice outside of the regular season. It is open to athletes who may not have made the school team and other school districts. Our goal is to have one highly competitive USAV National team and one AAU team for each age level, but will depend on interest. The twelve and under age group will play in AAU tournaments.
Team Guidelines
- Ten players per team
- Teams formed by age, then by ability and position
- Ability groups will be determined by the coaching staff
- Age groups are determined by age as of September 1, 2012
Fees
AAU 12–18s: $350
USAV 13–18s: $575
USAV 13–18s: $575
Refund Policy
No fees will be refunded for any reason after notification of being selected. Our fees are based on ten players per team. If one person quits for any reason, we have already spent their fee on uniforms, coaches, and tournaments.
Discounts
Two or more players in a family, will each be deducted $50 per child.
Tournament Transportation & Meals
- Tournaments are scheduled by availability and proximity. We will post a schedule on our web site as soon as the tournaments are confirmed.
- Parents provide transportation to tournaments and accommodations if necessary.
- Players need food, water and/or sports drinks for the day (concessions may be available at some sites)
- Some venues sell t-shirts and other clothing
